Where do I start?!?!?! I don´t even know how to type on this computer- it´s set up all differently!! o geez... ok well this morning we left for Frankfurt, where I´m spending the weekend. I spent the day til 3 at the Frankfurt zoo with Sami. It was raining on and off all day... but it was a good zoo.
I took the train to meet Ashton- I made it alright, even though it was all in German. Yay me! We hung out for a few hours- had a good talk, laughed and it was great. I feel so lost here- the culture is so relaxed- there are few morals left standing here and everywhere I go it seems like I get run over because I am polite. What a world we live in. Everywhere I turn I see parents neglecting their children, therefore pushing them to behaving in a negative way... and 15-16 year olds dressing like 22 year old hookers. It makes me really sad. It was major shock because I haven´t seen a lot of the big city life since being here.
The internet is down in the house Ashton is living in, so I just took the Tram to the train station, where there are lots of internet\phone shops. It´s only 1.15 euros for an hour of internet. It is getting late though, and the longer I wait, the more shady, creepy looking guys come in here... it´s pretty frightening. Anddd I have a headache from all the smoke.. but I am beginning to get used to it. Well, I am hanging in there. It seems I am hanging just by a tiny thread sometimes, encouragement-wise, but I am still here.
Please pray for the teens and adults at HSLT this week. It is a huge event and has proven to be a week where God really moves in teens (and adults´) hearts. My younger brother and father are both there. They just left this morning.
Between reading the one year and "waking the dead" (thanks alicia!), as well as prayer, those have been my encouragement and food for the soul since being here. Time for me to depart. Much love.
