Quite the Week

I've had one of those weeks that just hasn't seemed to end. Lots of stress and unexpected things have made time CRAWL! And the thing is, I've been keeping busy, which is ironic because usually when you keep yourself busy, time seems to fly by.

For some reason, when this seems to happen to me, or if I am a bit discouraged, I always seem to crave two things: water and sports movies. Random? Yah.

In the last five days, I have watched "We Are Marshall", "Rudy" and "Glory Road". I have also consumed WAY more water than I normally do.

Lets just say that I'm VERY WELL hydrated and believe that ANYTHING is possible!!

In other news... one of the biggest trees in the McClanahan backyard was either struck by lightning or tipped over by a giant troll Monday evening/Tuesday morning.

This "majority of the tree" crushed our camper and did some rooftop damage (although not sure how much yet- it's still hanging out there til the tree guys can come to the rescue!).

If it weren't for the camper, we concluded that the huge "troll tipped-over tree" would have crashed into Marc's room and broken his femur that HASN'T been broken. Definitely quite the excitement w/the McClanahan family.

How random. Sometimes, it seems like when it rains it pours.
All this is intended to draw us closer to our real hope... Jesus Christ the righteous one.
A friend of mine just passed on Hebrews 12:3 to me, so here it is:
"Consider Him who endured from sinners such hostility against Himself, so that you may not grow weary or fainthearted."

Truth to sink your life into, I'd say.
