Time Goes By...

Well, here I am writing an update blog, because I need to take a break from a Philosophy paper I'm writing. Thinking about thinking makes my brain hurt if I do it for too long.

Here's what's up:

1) The Cowboys dominated the Packers-- yep, they're back!

2) Saturday night (well technically Sunday morning) there was a dumpster fire at the dumpster about 8 yrds from my bed. I had my window open (my bed's right by the window) and at about 3 a.m. I got really hot and that along with hearing the sirens woke me up. The flames went up about 2 stories, and I half-asleep watched the firemen take down the fire and do the recovery. It was crazy being so close to all of this as it happened. I'm sure being half-asleep added to the crazy feel of it.

3) I have my first wind ensemble and cantamus concerts coming up in the next week and a half, which is pretty exciting.

4) Had a crazy awesome DSM adventure with my gals Saturday night. It was Amelia's birthday, so we celebrated by going to Downtown Church, followed by some delicious Olive Garden with some of our DSM brothers, followed by some cake and pinata action at Chris and Cole's house. It was great.

5) I learned how to drive stick and after a couple bad encounters with driving when I'm not ready, have decided to give up. I know, negative attitude, but here's the way I see it/justify it in my mind: God didn't create everyone the same. I think He created me to be an automatic car driver. Laugh if you will.

6) The beta fish of the SarAhlyssalsey apartment died today. It had been having spaz attacks a lot the past few days, so I knew it was coming, but still. RIP Francisco II.

Alright, enough of the updating and back to thinking about my thinking!

Peace out, readers!
