This has been the first season of American Idol I have watched in 3 years. Definitely full of talent- but it's always up in the air as to how America ends up voting. Talent and popularity-wise, these are my predictions for the remainder of the show:

Next to get bumped: Kristy Lee Cook
Followed by: Syesha Mercado
Followed by: Carly Smithson (unfortunately)
Followed by: Michael Johns
Followed by: Brooke White
This leaves my prediction for the last 3 standing: David Archuleta, David Cook and Jason Castro.
I think Jason'll be in the top because of his "Jack Johnson"-style nitch and his "beautiful eyes". The top two will come down to the two Davids though.
It's pretty up in the air as to which one will win it all, because they are both extremely strong vocally and have two very socially and musically different fans from each other. Although they're both going to get record labels within a few weeks of Idol ending, I'm going to predict that David Archuleta is going to win it all- simply based on America's tendency to vote and support the 'youngins' full of talent.
We'll have to see how accurate I turn out to be!

I believe you're wrong about Kristie going home this week. I've wanted her gone since the beginning but I think this week she used sex appeal and unfortunately it's going to force me to deal with her for at least another week. sigh.
Ambre, unfortunately you might be right. I wrote these predictions before Idol was on Tuesday night and yes, she definitely pulled the sex appeal card. I still think it's going to be either her or Carly, which is too bad because Carly is fabulous- she just chose a terrible song for this week...
